The Great Start program is designed especially for PREGNANT women.
FREE telephone counseling and support are available. This program
enables caller to enroll in program 24 hours a day. Support materials
are provided to caller. Counseling sessions (between 6 and 8) are
prearranged at callers convenience.
Health Insurance Provider Coverage Call the Number
on Your Insurance Card.
Many health insurance providers will assist patients trying to quit
smoking. Call the number on your insurance card and ask what smoking
cessation medications and therapies are covered. Some offer telephone
support, and some will allow for over-the-counter nicotine replacement
therapies when prescribed by your doctor. Coverage varies by plan.
